FIre Department buildingPlymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller presented the October Activity Report to the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety last week.

There were a total of 198 alarm situations in October with 144 of the calls for Emergency Medical Service incidents, 14 medical assists and 3 were public service assistance calls.

Firemen responded to 5 combustible spills, a controlled burn, an electrical wiring problem, 2 other fires, 3 vehicle fires, a single natural vegetation fire, 2 structure fires, a couple of unintentional system operations, a detector malfunction and 7 false alarms. Emergency responders were also dispatched and cancelled en route 11 times in October.
