Mobil GasLocal businessman Calvin Bailey will host “Oldies for Alzheimer’s” at his just restored Mobilgas Station at 1101 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.

Bailey said, “I have operated a hobby car restoration business for years, and last year, I had the good fortunate to buy and restore this old filling station formally Bob’s Towing of Plymouth.”   After combining a year of hard work, many of his gas collectibles and classic cars, this nostalgic Mobilgas station was created.

Bailey said, “Since its completion many antique and car lovers have asked to photograph their classic cars or motorcycle there. I have even been approached for high school senior and pinup girl pictures.”

He and his wife were talking about the requests and came up with an idea.

He said, “Why not accommodate many with professional car pictures with their option of pinup girls at our old gas station, and raise money for a good cause at the same time!”

Alzheimer’s was top of the list having witnessed it claim his dear aunt’s life after a long, long battle.

With some quick planning and some help from “Miss Riss” Photography Company the “Oldies for Alzheimer’s” fundraiser was planed.

Have your classic car professionally photographed for $25.  Images will be available for purchase via an online photo gallery.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
