OliverFord_ovalLogoOliver Ford Lincoln in Plymouth is pleased to announce they are working with FFA to award college scholarships to local members.  This is the 19th year of the Built Ford Tough Scholarship program.  Last year, Ford Motor Company awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships.

Oliver Ford Lincoln is sponsoring one scholarships valuing $1000 through the National FFA Scholarship program.  This scholarship will provide financial aid to and FFA member attending a four year college.

Jennifer Houin from Oliver Ford says, “This is one of our favorite activities to support at the local schools, as we have seen how many of the young people influenced by their FFA affiliation have grown into fine contributors to our various communities…and that’s just good for all of us!”

In 2015, more than 2,150 scholarships worth more than $2.7 million were awarded to FFA members through the National FFA Scholarship program, with more than 125 sponsorship participating in the program.  More than 7,000 students applied for these scholarships last year.  This year, scholarship applications are available online through February 1, 2016 atwww.FFA.org/Scholarships.

 

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 629,367 student member who belong to one of 7,757 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
