The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is warning drivers of potential delays on the State Road 23 bridge over Yellow Bank Creek, between Shivley Road and Walnut Road, near Walkerton starting Monday, August 17th through the middle of October. Crews will be widening lanes approaching the bridge and performing resurface and rehabilitation work on the bridge.
During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic or a temporary signal in place. Drivers should be prepared to stop at the bridge and expect delays.
