The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is warning drivers of potential delays on the State Road 23 bridge over Yellow Bank Creek, between Shivley Road and Walnut Road, near Walkerton on Wednesday, July 22nd through Friday, July 24th. Crews are installing a temporary signal that will be used during a bridge rehabilitation project, set to start in August.
During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic. Drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid this area, if possible.
