Sheriff's Truck During the month of March, eight officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department worked a total of 45 hours of extra patrol during Operation Pull Over Blitz.   These hours are above and beyond the regular duty hours already worked by the officers.

 

While working Operation Pull Over officers were focusing on aggressive and impaired driving, in attempt to keep the roadways safe and reduce crashes in the county. During the Operation Pull Over Blitz, officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department made 5 criminal arrests for offenses such as Operating While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Driving While Suspended with a Prior arrest, and Operating a Vehicle without Receiving a License.   Officers also issued 132 traffic citations and warnings.

 

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reminds everyone to plan ahead before going out for the night. Have a sober driver come along or make arrangements for a ride to get home. Please be responsible when traveling the roads and report all drivers thought to be impaired to 911.
