fundraiserThe Plymouth Aquatics Club, the Sharks, will host a Paddle Mania fundraiser on Saturday, August 22nd to support the club.

Paddle Mania is a fun way to win some great items from vendors including In A Pickle, Origami Owl, Perfectly Posh, Scentsy, Sugar Shack, Thirty-One, Tutu Cute Designs, Uppercase Living, Wildtree and more.  Over 100 auction items will be available for quarters.  It’s suggested participants should being 3 to 4 rolls of quarters.  Tickets for Paddle Mania are $5 per person and if you bring first aid supplies you will be entered into the door prize drawing.   All attendees must have a ticket and attendees must at 13 years or older.

The quarter auction, raffle and BBQ Dinner on August 22 will be held at Memories Reception Hall, 401 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth to raise funds to support the Sharks age group competitive swim programs.  Doors open at 4:00 pm and the auction begins at 5:00 pm.

The Sharks also will have a raffle for 4 single day Disney Park Hopper Tickets and if you bring a donation item for the “Shark Aid Drive” like waterproof bandages, ice packs you will receive a raffle ticket for a pre-quarter auction basket!

Bruce’s “Big Grill” BBQ will be on hand to assist with concessions and don’t forget the Sharks famous never ending popcorn bucket!  Tickets for Bruce’s are available from Shark Families and will be sold for $8 per tickets which includes a Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwich, BBQ Beans, and Coleslaw. Carryout will be available for those not attending the Quarter Auction beginning at 4:00 pm.

The Plymouth Aquatics Club has continued their efforts to assist the community in obtaining an indoor Aquarius center and recently wrote a grant for funding through the Regional Cities Initiative.
