PHS_BowlingOn Saturday, January 31st both the Plymouth High School Girls and Boys bowling team competed in individual sectionals. Before the match started the Michiana West Conference League handed out awards for the season. 

PHS_Bowling_2015_awards_Heather_AshleyCongratulations to junior Heather Borggren for making All Conference Second Team Girls with an average of 130 and a total of 15 points throughout the season. 

Congratulations to junior Ashley Shepperd for making All Conference First Team Girls with an average of 157 and a total of 17 points throughout the season. 

Sophomore Brandon Smith and Blake Smith made All Conference First Team Boys. Brandon had a 193 average and had 20 points while Blake had an average of 203 with 18 points. 

Congratulations to sophomore Brandon Smith for having the highest point total, 20, and the highest individual game with a 297. 

Congratulations to senior Blake Smith for having the Highest Individual Average with a 203. 

PHS_Bowling_2015_awards_boysCongratulations to Plymouth Boys for being Sectional Co-Champs with Riley going 11-1 throughout the season. The Plymouth Boys also had the highest team series with a 1,920 and a highest team average with an 884.

During individual sections juniors Ashley Shepperd bowled a 159, 199, and a 218,  Katie McDonald bowled a 148, 165, and a 134, and Heather Borggren bowled a 136, 117 and a 124. Seniors Denise Altheide bowled a 123, 126, and a 113 and Cassidy Morris bowled a 121, 114, and a 119. 

 

Congratulations to sophomore Brandon Smith, junior Ashley Shepperd, and seniors John White and Ian Rettig for advancing to Regional action in Michigan City.
