With wind gusts equaling the fahrenheit the Plymouth Varsity and JV endured the elements and picked up wins tonight over Bremen and Mishawaka Marian at Plymouth Country Club.

Seniors Ben Schenk and Reis Yoder lead by example for the Pilgrim Varsity – both carded impressive 39’s.  Sophomores Micah Calhoun 43 and Hudson Yoder 44, freshman John Schenk carded a 45.
The Varsity edged out Marian 165-167, Bremen 209.  Our matches the past several years with Marian have been very competitive and very close.  I was proud of our kids’ effort enduring the elements and performing well in difficult conditions.  Our players dedication, focus, and preseason work paid dividends tonight.
The JV defeated Marian 188-195.  Bremen didn’t field a JV squad.  Junior Colin Caine continued his solid play from the weekend leading the team with a 45.  Rounding out the scoring for the JV: Grant Clady 46, Roger Karr 48, Curtis Smith 49, Trevor Danielson 57.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday, again at Plymouth Country Club, versus CMA, Triton, and SB Adams.
