Blueberry_Round-Color-LogoThe 49th Annual Blueberry Festival is right around the corner! The four-day event is held Labor Day weekend in Centennial Park.

Plymouth High School is excited to announce the high school parking lot is once again the Blueberry Festival’s official parking spot! The high school is located on Randolph Street between Jefferson and Baker Streets.

The daily parking fee per vehicle is $8.00 or a weekend pass is available for $16.00.

Included with the high school parking cost is a FREE tram ticket for all festival-goers in your vehicle! Trams are handicapped assessable and shuttle you back and forth between the heart of the Blueberry Festival and the high school.

Part of the proceeds raised from parking at Plymouth High School benefit student groups at the school such as: band, choir, robotics, stage crew, acting, Spanish, AFS, the Portuguese club, and speech and debate at the high school as well as the speech team at Lincoln Junior High School.

This is an annual fundraiser for these groups and hundreds of students and staff members work long hours all weekend preparing for thousands of visitors.

Fifty percent of the profits from the parking are divided among PHS clubs and organizations that help during the festival while the Blueberry Festival receives 30 percent, and the Moose Lodge, who work the trams get 20 percent.
