PHS_Mackinzie SchulerPHS senior MacKenzie Schuler was selected as a finalist for the Jack Cramer Scholarship. The selection was made by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.

NATA selects a nominated individual from each of the 10 districts for a single scholarship that is awarded on a National level. Mackenzie was chosen as the District 4 representative by members of the selection committee. District 4 is comprised of the States of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconson.

The information for the 10 finalists is then sent to the NATA Head Office where a final selection is made. Although Mackenzie was not selected as the scholarship winner, it is a great achievement for her. It represents the quality and success of the programs she is involved in at Plymouth High School.

Mackenzie has been a student athletic trainer for four years at PHS. She has assisted the PHS Athletic Trainer with the coverage of football, baseball, and wrestling. She has spent many hours in the athletic training facility at the school gaining much knowledge in the care of athletes. It will help her as she explores the sports medicine field.
