FresnoState_1It’s official! Plymouth High School senior Kara Gustafson signed a Letter of Intent Monday morning with Fresno State, a Division 1 NCAA University! She will commit to being a member of the Bulldog’s Equestrian Team.

FresnoState_4Kara has been offered a 4-year scholarship, which will save her more than $50,000 in tuition, plus free books while she gains her college education in Fresno, California.

FresnoState_3Her passion for horses took off her 7th grade year after her family bought a horse. Soon after she discovered performance horses and her love for the sport of reining horse training, right around the time she was she was beginning her education here at Plymouth High School.

FresnoState_5Kara has been competing in NRHA – National Reining Horse Association her entire high school career. In 2014 she placed 2nd in the entire State. This year her goal is to be 1st in State the Indiana National Reining Horse Association competition.

FresnoState_2Kara was joined alongside family and friends in the PHS Varsity Gym as she signed her Letter of Intent to officially become a Fresno State Bulldog.
