Plymouth traveled to Concord on Wednesday but dropped the conference game in 5 innings. The game started a competitive 1-0 game through the top of the 3rd inning when Concord had a strong 5 run inning on 5 hits with triples from Loge and Nelson. Concord tacked on 3 more runs in the bottom of the 4th to make it 9-0. Plymouth showed heart in the 5th inning when Bailey Brown reached base on an error, Mimi Southwell put the ball in play to advance Brown, and Kristen McNeal singled to score her. Alexis McVicker had the only extra base hit for Plymouth on Monday when she doubled to Right field and McNeal scored on the play. Concord managed to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th and that ended the game early by run rule.

 

Plymouth has their first Varsity home game tomorrow against Rochester at 5:00pm. Warsaw also comes to Plymouth on Friday for a 5:00pm game.

The Plymouth JV Softball team lost to Concord 10-0 in 5 innings tonight. The Pilgrims had 4 hits on offense: a double from Shayla Noble, while Rachel Hilty, Audrey Himes and Josie Koontz all added a single each. Josie Koontz took the loss for Plymouth in the circle. 

The Plymouth JV Softball team will face Rochester at home Thursday April 23 for a 5:00 pm start.
