The Plymouth Softball team had a successful trip to Warsaw on Tuesday as the Varsity and JV teams both earned victories with a matching score of 18-8. Zoe Keilman got the win for Plymouth on the mound striking out 4 in just 5 innings of work as the game was shortened by run rule. Offensively, Plymouth outhit Warsaw 14-7 on the night and knocked in 15 RBI’s. Bailey Brown was 3-3 on the night, while Zoe Keilman, Mimi Southwell, and Rachel Hilty all had 2 hits. Southwell crushed a ball for a grand slam in 4th inning, but Smith was called out on the play and the hit was recorded as a triple instead. Plymouth travels to Goshen tomorrow continuing in conference play. 

 

The Plymouth JV Softball team beat Warsaw 18-8 tonight. Jailyn Fox made her pitching debut for Plymouth and earned her first win of her high school career. Fox also performed well at the plate going 2 for 4, while Anna Bockman also went 2 for 4 at the plate. While Fox and Bockman both did well, Plymouth’s offensive leader was Kirsten Nault going 3 for 4 with a walk.

The Plymouth JV Softball team will be back in action tomorrow night, Wednesday May 13 at Goshen.
