school newsThree Plymouth High School students, Garrett Garver (10), Kathryn Hickman (12) and Curtis Smith (11) have been competing at nationals this week at the BPA – Business Professionals of America Annual National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Anaheim, California.

PHS Business Instructor Mr. Gene Skirvin just notified the school that Curtis Smith has moved on in competition to the finals for Extemporaneous Speech!

The competition will take place tomorrow Saturday (5-9) at 8:15 a.m.! California is located in the Pacific Time Zone, a 3-hour difference between  time zones.

Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields.

BPA has 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states. BPA is a co-curricular organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.
