This Saturday, the Plymouth High School Speech and Debate Team will be hosting a Debate Invitational Season Tournament here at the high school from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to stop by and check out some of the competitions! Close to 15 Michiana schools will be here competing. They expect close to 250 students, coaches, and judges at the tourney!
Below is a schedule of different room competitions that will be going on:
Congress Debate Rooms: Choir, 165, Studio Theatre
Policy Debate Rooms: 114, 116, 118, 119, 120, 121, 123, 124, 125, 129
Lincoln-Douglas Debate Rooms: 100, 103, 111, 113, 134, 135, 136, 138, 139, 141, 146, 147
Public Forum Debate Rooms: 200, 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210
Looking ahead for next weekend… on Friday, Jan. 30th and Saturday, Jan. 31st the District Debate will take place at Penn High School. This tournament is how students qualify for the National Speech and Debate Tournament, in debate.
