local News_2This week members of the Plymouth Plan Commission once again reviewed the zoning ordinance amendment for landscaping standards for parking lots.  Originally approved by the Plan Commission, when sent to the City County, Planning Director Ralph Booker asked to have the amendment tables because he felt the calculations were in error.

On Tuesday evening Plan Commission members reviewed the changes currently proposed and decided they needed additional time to review the concepts so they tabled any action.

Plan Commission members did approve two resolutions amending the Economic Development Plans for TIF (Tax Incremental Financing) Districts number 1 and 3.  On TIF #1 the resolution adds improvements to the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant and future improvements to Pioneer Drive north of US 30.  The resolution sets up an annual pledge of funds for the financing of bonds for the water plant improvement project.

The project added to TIF #3 was the future improvements to Pioneer Drive north of US 30.

Both resolutions passed 6 to 1 with Mark Gidley giving the lone no votes.
