The costs of student school meals in the Plymouth Community School Corporation will remain the same as last year.  Breakfast is offered daily for $1.10 for all students.  Lunch prices are $1.85 for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade and $1.95 for students in grades 7 through 12.

The cost for an adult breakfast meal has increased this year from $1.35 to $1.50 and the cost for an adult lunch has increased from $2.50 to now $2.75.

Plymouth High School Head cook Jane Williams is excited to report students and staff will soon be able to dish out their lunch from a brand new freestanding hot food bar!

The new unit will help the PHS cafeteria present hot food in a self-serve buffet type setting. Hot food stays hot with standard 1000-watt elements. The wells can run wet or dry and the food wells can easily be removed for daily cleaning.

Williams and her staff have already revamped their daily lunch menu to include yummy combinations in the new warming bar, plus PHS will still offer all you can eat fruit and veggie bar with every lunch purchase!

The new warming bar menu will be:

Monday: Baked Potato Bar

Toppings: chili, taco meat, broccoli, cheese, salsa, bacon bits, butter, sour cream, garlic bread sticks

Tuesday: Taco Bar

Toppings: hamburger or chicken fajita, black beans, refried beans, lettuce, cheese, onion, black olives, salsa, sour cream, soft shells or chips

Wednesday: Pasta Bar with spaghetti or penne noodles

Toppings: meat sauce or alfredo, grilled chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, black olives, parmesan cheese, garlic bread or sticks

Thursday: Sub Bar

Toppings: Sub buns or soft shell, turkey or ham, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles, black olives, banana peppers, avocados and

Friday: Hamburger or Hotdog

Toppings: cheese, onions, tomato, lettuce, pickles, avocados
