Football Close Up on FieldJust a reminder from Plymouth High School’s Head Football Coach John Barron.  Monday begins the Annual Rockie Youth Football Summer Camp for students going into grades second through eight!

If you haven’t sent your payment in yet – he says no problem! You can show up on Monday at Lincoln Junior High, where the 4-day camp will take place! Just bring $20 cash or a check payable to Plymouth High School and a consent form printed out and signed to Lincoln before the 11 am camp begins.

✓Cost: $20, $30 for family

 

Our current PHS players run the camp. Most of the players were “campers” themselves and take a lot of pride in helping the kids learn fundamentals, but most of all, have fun learning to play the game!

 

All campers will:

  • Learn a proper stance: 2 pt. and 3 pt.
  • Learn blocking techniques from the lineman position and skilled positions
  • Learn proper techniques on how to throw and catch a football
  • Learn how to tackle in space and in closed areas
  • Receive a Rockie Football Camp T-shirt
