The Plymouth boys opened up NLC round robin play at Plymouth Country Club Wednesday evening vs Elkhart Memorial and Warsaw with a split.

Warsaw 159
Plymouth 166
Elkhart Memorial 178
Reis Yoder lead the Pilgrims with a 38.  Highlight of the night for Reis was a birdie 2 on the par-3 16th followed by back to back pars on 17 and 18.  Impressive on Reis’s card was nothing higher than a bogey, nothing higher than a 5.
Sloppy play was shared by all teams this evening.  Nerves and higher stakes with conference play in effect we’re likely factors.  The break in the weather coupled with great course conditions was a positive.
Facing Warsaw at PCC for only the second time in 9 seasons was a huge opportunity missed for our guys.  Our 166 score was our highest / worst performance of the season.
Like the Varsity the Plymouth JV also fell to Warsaw in a season high performance.
Warsaw 180
Plymouth 193
The Varsity improves to 12-4 on the season; 1-1 in NLC play.  The JV in limited matches is now 5-1 overall and 0-1 in NLC play.  Both squads are back in the NLC fray Thursday evening at South Shore in Syracuse taking on host Wawasee and visiting Northwood.
