The Plymouth High School Business Professionals of American Club competed at District competition in Warsaw on Saturday January 17.
The team qualified 29 of 32 students to compete at the State competition in Indianapolis in March. The following placed first: “Video Production Team” of John Hunter and Lucas Vervynckt, “Economic Research” and “Human Resource Management” Garrett Garver, “Extemporaneous Speech” Curtis Smith, “Prepared Speech” Erin Hunter and “Presentation Management” John Hunter. Finishing second and qualifying for State competition: “Administrative Support Team” Kayden Fosler, Kierra Willis, Kara Morwood and Elise Patrick, “Entrepreneurship” Cody Gamble, “Advanced Interview Skills” Kathryn Hickman, “Prepared Speech” Max Holloway and “Presentation Management” Ricky Cooper.
Others qualifying for State include: “Web Site Design Team” Luke Foldenauer, Calvin Hopple, Kameron Ray and Ulises Hernandez, “Computer Animation Team” Jacob Stayton and Sam Stayton, “Parliamentary Procedure Team” Trevor Pletcher, Benji Nixon, Payton Skirvin, Kadin McCrammer and John Schenk, “Fundamental Spreadsheet” 3rd place Trevor Pletcher, “Interview Skills” 3rd place Ulises Hernandez and “Presentation Management” 3rd place Leah Smith.
