On Thursday, member of the Plymouth Optimist Club placed Christmas Trees in the planters in downtown Plymouth. This is an annual event for the organization.
The trees are provided through the generosity of Hensler Nursery in Hamlet and the manpower of securing them in the flower planters are from the efforts of Plymouth Street Department employees who place the stakes and the Optimist Club who put the trees in.
Merchants who have a tree in front of their business is asked to decorate the tree before the City’s Christmas Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting on Friday, November 27th.
