Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon updated members of the Board of Public Works on the hiring process during this week’s meeting.
The chief said the deadline for the submission of applications was Friday, August 21st. They handed out 57 applications and received 17 back.
The chief said, “The applications will be screened and the candidates will take the written and physical agility testing is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th.”
The Plymouth Police Department will be filling the vacancy left when Ted Brown retired to become the Director of Security for the Plymouth Community School Corporation.
