Alyssa TapiaTapia’s brothers Joey and Chuy Garcia are concerned for their sister’s safety.  In a facebook post they say she’s still gone but they have seen a text or facebook post message which indicates she is fine and just doesn’t want to be in Plymouth anymore.   There appears to be some sibling rivalry with a younger sister.  The brothers indicate the Alyssa is a troubled girl “who has made some bad choices on her own.”

In their facebook post Chuy and Joey Garcia say, “We still love her very dearly and want nothing but the best for her.”

RigoThe family alleges that Alyssa Tapia is with a young man, Rigoberto Calix Reyes  who goes by “Rigo” who is enrolled at Plymouth High School.  Superintendent Dan Tyree said, “The young man is enrolled in high school. We have nothing to believe that he is older than high school age. If he comes back to school we will try to verify his age.”  There have been some comments made to the family that the male is much older than high school age and that he is in the country with fake papers.

The family believes that Alyssa Tapia is in the Hammond or Chicago area.
