DriveSoberOrGetPulledOverThe Plymouth Police Department participated in the Operation Pullover Program.  Funded by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, it provides funding for local police departments throughout the State of Indiana to allow officers to work beyond their normal shifts to focus on traffic enforcement.

During the two week period over the Labor Day holiday officers with the Plymouth Police Department had six officer volunteer to work overtime for the program.  During those two weeks officers made 19 arrests which included 1 for Operating While Intoxicated and the other 18 were for various traffic, equipment and lances violations.  Officers also issued 85 traffic warnings to motorists for various violations for a total of 104.
