Plymouth Community SchoolsThe Plymouth School Board approved an agreement with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival during their regularly meeting on July 7. The Blueberry Festival’s annual request for use of the corporation’s parking lots for September 4 to September 7 was approved.

The agreement stipulates a split of the parking fees among the Blueberry Festival (30 percent of the gross), Plymouth High School (50 percent) and the Moose Lodge (20 percent). Parking fees were established at $8 for each car, $16 for weekend passes, $25 for motor buses, and $25 for RV overnight parking.

Parking will be available at Plymouth High School and Riverside Intermediate School. The use of the Jefferson Elementary School will include the parking lot, the north grass area and the circle drive. Additionally, a first aid station, mother/child feeding area and an entertainment area in the cafeteria/gym will be at Jefferson School.

Menominee Elementary School will be the site for parking and lineup for the Blueberry Cruise on Saturday.

Those school groups participating in parking to raise funds that are used throughout the year will be under the leadership of Charlotte Tyree.
