arrestsSunday morning about 3:30 Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper conducted a stop and talk with two individuals outside Quick’s Lanes Bowl Alley on West Jefferson Street.  During his interaction with the subjects it was discovered that 20 year old Kayla Berry of Mishawaka was a minor consuming alcohol.

The male subject, 18 year old Chandlor Lamb of Plymouth was found to be consuming alcohol.  He was also in possession of paraphernalia and the suspect in a domestic battery that involved strangulation.

Officer Stamper also found that Berry had a protective order against Lamb.  He arrested both of them  Berry was booked into the County Jail for illegal consumption of alcohol on a $255 cash bond.  Lamb was booked in for strangulation, domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16, possession of paraphernalia, illegal consumption of alcohol and invasion of privacy of an emergency protection order with a prior charge.  He was held on a $3,000 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
