NewsDuring Monday evening’s Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Plymouth Police Chief had no police department business to report although he did make a statement to the community.

“I do want to say thank-you to everyone, department head, elected officials for all the support last week, especially emergency services.  I never thought I’d be on the receiving end of that but Plymouth Fire, EMS, Plymouth Police, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police all outstanding.  So, I want to thank everyone for their prayers for my family.  Prayers and our faith what’s keeping us going.  I just wanted to thank everybody.”

Mayor Senter said, “I just want to say also how proud I was of this whole community.  We had a tragedy like no other and at times we do sometimes bicker and go at each other but when something like this happens it’s so important to come together. I want to thank the City of Plymouth, its citizens and those in Marshall County.”
