Mark A. Thompson the Walnut 1 Republican Precinct Committee Chairman is reminding Argos citizens of seats that are open to candidates for the upcoming town convention.
There are three (3) council seats on the Argos Town Council, and the Clerk-Treasurers position, whose terms expire on December 31st, 2015.
Any qualified republican that would like to be on the November ballot to fill these seats needs to file a Declaration of Candidacy with the Marshall County Clerk in Plymouth. The deadline for filing is noon, August 3rd. A town convention will select the candidates for the November ballot.
