City HallQuotes will be open for a roof replacement project at the Waste Water Treatment Plan during Monday evening Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

Beginning at 6 p.m. the Plymouth Board of Works will hear reports from various department heads including City Engineer Rick Gaul who will discuss fiber-optic installation at 2123 Oak Drive.

The Plymouth City Attorney will present a resolution to the Board of Public Works and Safety designating a hand gun as surplus property of the Plymouth Police Department and authorizing its transfer to a retiring police officer.

Other action items on the agenda are requests by the Plymouth Kilwinning Masonic Lodge, St. Michael Catholic School and Plymouth Rotary Club.   The Woman’s Care Center will be asking for a parking space and Lenker Services will seek approval for a dumpster in the alley at 300 West Washington Street.

The Plymouth Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 with an agenda that includes an ordinance amendment allowing retiring police officers to purchase the service handgun and a resolution to approve the application of Rocky Talcott from the Floor Store and More for a Commercial Revitalization Program Grant.

The city meeting are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall and are open to the public, although comments and questions are limited to agenda items.
