City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings (Tuesday, tonight) because of the Memorial Day holiday.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.  The board will award the bid for the 2015 City Street projects, open quotes for the Freedom Park restroom project and open the requests for proposal for the city’s Gateway Signage project.

City department heads will give their reports and the city engineer will seek approval of the preliminary plan for the safe routes to school project on Baker Street and consider the request of United Telephone for 3M Company.

Other agenda items for the Board of Public Works and Safety include the approval of claims, acceptance of communication, Michael Iqbal who will discuss 400 East Jefferson Street, the former Clark Street gas station and Reg Danielson who will speak again about issues he has had with theft from his business, the Mayflower Tavern and accusations about his siblings.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30.  The only agenda item is the approval of Tax Abatement compliance forms.

Both meetings are open to the public with comments and questions restricted to agenda items only.
