MILWAUKEE, WI – Ashley Quezaire, a 2015 graduate of Milwaukee Rufus King High School, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Ancilla College.

Quezaire, a 5’6” small forward for the Lady Generals, is a three year varsity basketball player and three time varsity letter recipient. Under head coach Craig Machut, her team went 20-14 overall and 11-1 in the Milwaukee City Gold conference. They also won the Milwaukee City Conference Gold Championships in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. Quezaire, played all 24 games of her senior year and started in 22 of them. She scored 5.6 points, had 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. Overall, she finishes her basketball career at Rufus King 50-22.

“Ashley is a very good athlete,” remarked Ancilla College head coach Tom Robbins. “She has skills in multiple areas. She is a good shooter, driver and defender.”

When asked why she chose Ancilla, Quezaire responded, “I really liked the school as well as the women’s basketball program and coaches.”

Ashley is the daughter of Keith and Nicole Martin of Milwaukee, WI. At Ancilla, she plans to major in physical therapy.
