warrant-servedOn Saturday evening February 28th at 6:55 Bourbon Police Officer Mathew Haskins observed Jeffery Reames outside of 304 South Washington Street in Bourbon. The officer had knowledge of a parole warrant for Mr. Reames and when he attempted to make contact at the residence Reames ran to the back of the house and refused to obey a police order to come to the door.

After back-up from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Argos Police Department arrived on the scene officers were able to negotiate with Reames.   It took about 45 minutes for officers to convinced him to comply with their commands to surrender too officers that were in the home and he was taken into custody.

Jeffery Reames was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for a parole violation warrant and held with no bond.
