Residents of Miller’s Senior Living Community celebrated their annual Red & Green Party and Happy Hour which has become a tradition at the facility last week. Activity Director Cindy Flagg encourages all the residents and staff to wear red, green or a combination of the two colors. A panel of judges selected the winners and prizes were awarded.
This year hor’dourves were provided by staff and volunteers. A highlight on the buffet was a cheese and veggie tray laid out in the design of a Christmas Tree. Residents were served by staff and volunteers. Volunteers who helped were: Juanita Stapan and Lyn Ward.
Santa, resident Larry Kreighbaum and Mrs. Claus, staff member Deb Bush, made a surprise appearance at the party. Santa and Mrs. Claus gave treat bags to all the “good” residents and staff members. They also took time to pose for pictures with anyone who asked.
