The Lincoln Junior High 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to Bremen on Tuesday, November 17th. Lincoln dug themselves a hole of 11 points before coming back in the 4th quarter. Plymouth cut the lead to 1 but couldn’t capitalize on their final possession and fell to Bremen with a final score of 29-28. Brady Hissong led Lincoln scorers with 9 points, connecting on 3 of 4 three point attempts.
Lincoln travels to Tippecanoe Valley on Wednesday, November 18th for their second game of the season. The Lincoln Red Storm 7th Grade A Team won a hard fought battle with the Bremen Lions 33-26. The Red Storm were led by Jake Reichard and Collin Mills with 11 points each. Daniel Bacon scored 4 points, Kyle Johnson netted 3 points, and Drew Harrell and Owen Yoder chipped in 2 points each for the winners. The relentless defensive pressure applied by the Red Storm eventually wore down the Lions and propelled Lincoln to victory. Lincoln’s record now stands at a perfect 1-0.
