Plymouth_Logo_2014This week members of the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission made the determination to pass through $30 million dollars of assessed evaluation in TIF District One.  Each year the commission has to make the determination if they will pass through any assessed value from each of the city’s three TIF districts.

In a special meeting, members were able to review the revenue each district receives and projects already requiring funds from the TIF Districts.

Committee members made the determination to not pass through any assessed evaluation from TIF District Two or Three.

In an update on the Metronet project in TIF 1 Brent Martin said he is finishing the quantities and will be able to close out the project in the next Redevelopment Commission meeting and get Michiana Contracting their final payment.

A request to extend the Metronet from Gibson Insurance on East Jefferson Street to 9A Road was determined to be a separate project and will need to be engineered and designed and the quote.  A proposal from USI will be sought to design the project.
