StarkeCountySheriffOn Monday the Starke County Sheriff’s Office went to the residence at 1833 E 350 S in Knox to verify a registered sex offender’s address and compliance in accordance with his registry.

As the officer approached the residence he observed a HCL generator, an item commonly used to manufacture Methamphetamine, in the trash can and another one the ground.

The homeowner gave consent to search the camper where they were living and once inside the camper officer’s located several items including Meth, Methamphetamine precursors, syringes and paraphernalia and other items used with the manufacture of Methamphetamine.

1.) Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony
2.) Possession of Precursors Level 6 Felony
3.) Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6 Felony
4.) Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6 Felony
5.) Possession of Paraphernalia A- Misdemeanor

At this time the adults are being held with on bond until their initial hearings in Starke Circuit Court.
The juvenile was transported to Muskegon River Youth Center in Ladoga, IN until his initial court hearing.
