Relay for life logoThe Relay for Life of Marshall County committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for coming out and supporting the 2016 campaign kickoff.  Last week they held a Luminary Ceremony at the Marshall County Courthouse.

Marilyn King from the Emergency Services Team said “It is great to know that as a community and a county as a hole we came together and supported those fighting cancer, to reflect and remember those that have passed before us and will continue to support the ones that have fought the battle and won.”    The total of luminary sales and donations for the evening was $2404.00, making the vent a success.”

Special thank-yous went out to the following businesses and individuals who contributed  to this event: The Coffee Lodge, Wal-Mart, The Plymouth Fire Department,  WTCA, The Pilot News, Allison Kara’s State Farm Insurance and Ted Brown for being the emcee for the evening, along with his encouraging words and prayers.
