The November ballot for the Town of Argos has been set. Tuesday evening republicans held a convention to select their candidates for the general election. Republican Incumbent Clerk-Treasurer Patty Jones was beaten by Lisa Mullaney. Mullaney will face Democrat Kelli VanDerWeele for the clerk’s seat on November 3rd. There were five Republican candidates seeking the three open seats on the Town Council. Craig Ellis, Charles Randy Snead and Juli Stauffer received the most votes and will be on the Republican ticket. Ed Barcus and Mark VanDerWeele were unsuccessful. These three Republicans will be joined by Democrat Dustin Johnson on the November ballot to fill the 3 vacant seats. There were 1,408 registered voters and 99 registered Republicans attended the convention and voted
