VEX_2015_1Congratulations to the Plymouth High School Robotics Teams for making it to the Indiana State VEX Championship Saturday in Indianapolis at Warren Central High School.

All three of the PHS teams made it to the quarterfinals before they
were eliminated in the Elimination Rounds.

PHS A TEAM  586ATeam 586A came in third in the quarterfinal round. The team is made up of the following students: Kevin Bachman, Michael Eads, Zacc Hutchings, Jeremy Shidler and Lauren Wiegand.  They received the Excellence Award which quick qualifies them to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Exposition Center April 15th – April 18th! The VEX Robotics World Championship brings together top robotics teams to celebrate their accomplishments and compete with and against the best teams from around the world.

PHS B Team 586BTeam 586B came in 10th. The team is made up of the following students: Jason Doody, Jessica Doody, Noah Harrell, Dennis Miley, Janessa Salazar, Nathanael Shafer and Emory Smith.

VEX_2015_2Earlier in the VEX Robotics season both Team 586A and Team 586B qualified for the VEX U.S. Open Robotics Championship at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa that will be held on April 7th through April 9th.

PHS G TeamTeam 586G came in 22nd. Team G is made up of the following students: Skyler Beindorf, Trey Metheny, Chris Natzel and Josiah Webster.
