FreedomPark_logoMembers of the Freedom Park committee, the Plymouth Park Department and the City of Plymouth are excited to announce the ribbon cutting for phase I of Freedom Park in Packard Woods.  Originally scheduled for mid June, the extremely wet summer caused a postponement of the event.

FreedomPark_large structureThe public is invited to Packard Woods on Harrison Street at 5 p.m. on Monday Oct. 19 for the ceremony. Phase one of Freedom Park includes the large play structure with a zero-G chair.  Not only will the all-inclusive park have its official opening but the commemorative bricks that are part of the fundraising project will be revealed along with a special memorial brick for David Bacon III.

Freedom Park is not just for children and adults with disabilities but for everyone to play and socialize together.
