PrintIn 5th grade basketball action on Monday, the 5th Grade Riverside Rockets traveled to Triton and came away with a split.  In the A game, the Rockets played stellar defense, but were down 7-2 at half.  After some quick buckets to start the 3rd, the Rockets went up and ran away with the game, winning 22-11.  Leading the way for the Rockets was Nolan Bales with 6 points.  Easton Strain, Roman Snedeker, and Davis Wray all chipped in 4.  Timmy Wakeland and Dominic Giordano had 2 a piece.  Kav Holm and Trey Hall chipped in by playing excellent defense and limiting their guys offensively.

In the B game, the Rockets lost 14-4.  Hunter Shepherd and Michael Sheely had 2 points each.

Both teams will travel to Walkerton on Thursday.
