The 6th grade boys defeated the Laville Lancers on Monday night. In the first game, the Rockets were led by unselfish play from David Schadek. Although he found his teammates often, he also scored 17 points. Tanner Feece chipped in 7 points. All members of the Rockets contributed to their 40-26 win.

In the second game, the Rockets defeated the Lancers by utilizing their post players down low. Jacob Friberg pulled down 10 rebounds and played tremendous helpside defense. Connor DeLee had a career high with 21 points. The final score was 38-25.

On Monday night, the 5th Grade Riverside Rockets traveled to LaVille and came home with a pair of victories.  In the A game, great defense was play by the Rockets leading to a 38-13 victory.  Leading the way for the Rockets was Timmy Wakeland with 12 points.  Nolan Bales had 10, and Davis Wray and Roman Snedeker chipped in 6.

The B team also played great defense helping them 22-4.  Noble Bockman led the way with 9 points and Landon Hall had 7.  Brock Jensen, Michael Sheely, and Fitz Holm each chipped in 2.  Andy Young led this defense with his solid play and hustle.

Both teams will travel to North Liberty next week before their season concludes on Saturday, Dec. 12 with a tournament at Riverside.
