Chili_Cook_offThe Bourbon “Rock the Park” Community Destination Imagination Team will host an outreach project in partnership with the Potawatomi Wildlife Park on Saturday, October 3rd.

How does your chili stack up?  Would Rachel Ray and Bobby Flay want to “throw it down” with you?  Here’s your chance to prove to the community that your chili recipe is the best chili in town.

Enter you favorite chili in the Rock The Park Chili Fest 2015 at Potawatomi Wildlife Park this Saturday from 11 to 3.  Groups and individuals are welcome to submit their speciality.  Participants are asked to bring a minimum of 2 gallons of homemade chili ready to serve.

Winners will be selected by the public voting in 5 different categories.  There will be a winner in each category and an overall winner.   Spectators will pay $5 for five separate tastings and after 3 you can purchase a bowl for $5.

Funds raised from this event will be given to Potawatomi Wildlife Park to be used as funding for the gravel project at the Bessinger Pavilion.

Members of the Rock The Park Community Destination Imagination Team are urging the community to come show your support by attending or participating this Saturday’s Rock the Park Chili Fest 2015.
