On Tuesday night, the Riverside Rockets 5th grade team traveled to North Liberty and came back with two more victories to their names. The A team won 37-22 behind Nolan Bales’s 13 points. Davis Wray and Easton Strain each had 7 points to contribute to the win. Trey Hall, Shane Abberger, and Timmy Wakeland each scored 2. The boys will play in the finaleon Saturday in a tournament at Riverside. The tournament will start at 9, with the Rockets playing in the 10 o’ clock game.
The B team also added another voctory winning 17 to 10. Noble Bockman led the Rockets with 6 points while Brock Jensen added an and 1 plus the free throw for 3 points. Hunter Shepherd, Brady Hoover, and Landon Hall each added 2. The Rockets B team will also participate in the tournament on Saturday, with their game beginning roughly at noon.
