Handcuffs-newPlymouth Police Officer Ben McIntyre was dispatched last Friday, January 30th to Bruno’s Pizza for a fight in the parking lot.  By the time he arrived on the scene the subjects had already left.  He was told they were now fighting at the Plymouth Police Department.

Officer McIntyre located 34 year old William Salas and 21 year old Ariel Rivera, both of Plymouth.  They were taken into custody after questioning and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for battery and disorderly conduct.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
