On Wednesday afternoon at 2:25 Officer Siple with the LaPaz Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a 1988 Buick that had an expired registration plate. While speaking with the driver, Devin Sanchez of Plymouth the odor of marijuana was detected in the vehicle.
Sanchez was booked into the Marshall County Jail for possession of marijuana. He was cited for the expired registration plate, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and possession of paraphernalia.
All criminal charges are merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
