arrestsOn Saturday, May 2nd at 12:10 a.m. Officer Ben McIntyre with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Michigan and Baker Streets on a vehicle for a traffic violation.  During the investigation it was found that the driver, 40 year old Mark Case of Highland was operating while intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person.   Case was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond. He was released later that day after posting bond and issued a Marshall Superior II Court date of May 26th.
Later Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Officer McIntyre conducted a traffic stop on 41 year old Adam Hibner of Plymouth in the area of Jefferson and Polk Streets. During the investigation of the traffic stop it was found that Mr. Hibner was operating while intoxicated with a prior charge of the same offense and operating a vehicle with a BAC .15% or more and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
