DrugArrestOn Wednesday, February 25 Indiana State Police served a search warrant at 217 West 1st Road in LaPaz.  The purpose of the warrant was to search the residence and outbuildings for suspicion of methamphetamine manufacture and for stolen property.

The warrant was served about 8 a.m. by the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team (ERT).  During the warrant service three suspects were located inside the house.

There was a small child located in the house, and two other small children reside at the house but were not present.

During the search ISP officers found methamphetamine, meth manufacture precursors, burnt meth lab reaction vessels, hydrochloric gas (HCL) generators, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, and several stolen items.

The investigation at the 1st Road residence led to a search of a nearby apartment where Chad Richard lived.  While searching that apartment, heroin, syringes, marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, and stolen property were located at that residence.

MugShot_MystesiaYeagerLater on Wednesday police went to Mishawaka and located 24 year-old Mystesia Yeager who was wanted through Marshall County. She was on probation through Marshall County for a previous methamphetamine manufacture conviction.  She was related to this current case due to her involvement with methamphetamine use and manufacture at the LaPaz address.

 

 

 

 

All four subjects were arrested and transported to Marshall County jail where they were booked in for drug related charges.

The Plymouth Police Department assisted with the search warrant.
