Sheriff's Star BadgeOperating While Intoxicated topped the list of offences for being booked into the Marshall County Jail during September.

Looking at the Top Ten offenses you find Failure to Appear at number 2, Driving While Suspended number 3, Operator Never Licensed number 4 and Marijuana was 5th.  Continuing down the list is Theft at number 6, Domestic Battery 7th, Neglect of a Dependent was 8th, Public Intoxication 9th and Possession of a Controlled Substance 10th.

Police Officers and the courts booked a total of 155 individuals into the Marshall County Jail.  The average daily jail population during September was 119.

County Police Officers took 80 case reports, issued 162 citations, investigated 45 property damage accidents and 5 personal injury accidents last month.
